What does the Demo program allow me to do?
The demo program has all the features and functionality of the licensed MDC Office Suite program. The demo program will shutdown after 100 transactions or after 30 days, whichever comes first. You can also print Patient Statements, Invoices, Credit Memos, and General Patient Information Sheets.The logic that runs Vetport’s EMR is extremely complex, but we have made it as user friendly as possible.

How do I enter a patients opening balance?
To create a Patients opening balance, create a CPT and ICD9 code for an opening balance. For example, 99999. Then go to the Transaction screen and create a Transaction using this CPT and ICD9 code. The amount of the transaction will be the patients opening balance.The logic that runs Vetport’s EMR is extremely complex, but we have made it as user friendly as possible. That said, it will require a commitment from the user to become comfortable with it. The POMR (Problem Oriented Medical Record) is a complex system on its own. When I exit MDC, and I select Backup, where does my file get backed up to?
When exiting MDC, if you select backup, your MDC file is automatically backed up to the previous backup location. Yes. You must be set up as an Administrator in order to install and setup MDC for the first time. MDC was designed using XP as a base operating system. We have tested the software on all platforms including Windows 98, ME, XP, and 2000. If you need to transfer your database to another computer, you’ll need to Backup your database on the existing computer, and then Restore the database on the new computer.
