How To Forget Your Ex
Posted by Ricardo d Argence at Sep 8th, 2008 in Personal Development
At a time when you have gone through a difficult break up,your mental and emotional patterns get very sensitive and I have given you a few ways how you can pass through this phase, keeping your cool and balance and move ahead with your love life. There are certain methods that may help you improve your quality of life and channel the suffering of a relationship ending. Now here are some more tips.
1. “HATE Leads to FEAR leads to SUFFERING…” This Yoda quote exemplifies exactly why you should DEAL very quickly with whatever “hate” issues you may be having.
Sometimes you are going to want to scream, you are so pissed off. You may resent your ex because so much time seems “wasted” or there are kids involved that now you have to deal with. Finally, you may come to hate YOURSELF, and that’s the scariest place of all, because everyone needs love, but you have to be able to depend on YOURSELF to love YOU first. Don’t waste your time with hate.
2. Have a Pow-Wow. Native American communities have set the example of people coming together in difficult times to help the weakest members with their experience. This is applicable even in small scales! Gather your friends and family. Receive the help they can give. Maybe they have lived through similar happenings.
Male friends will provide you with strength, guidance, and clarity to cut through your delusions and better yourself. Female friends will provide you with rejuvenating energy, empathy, and a deeper emotional perspective to give you the nurturing you need to courageously move forward. So, it’s meet up time!
3. Creative Expression. Artists who are experiencing some form of turmoil put forth some of the best poems, novel, songs and art. Each of us has an imagination and a creative side. Start exploring your path as you place your feelings out there for more expression. It is very important to take notes so when you go into see the therapist you can have it all at hand.
When you are finally in a stable relationship, you can take the time to reflect on the break-up that had such an impact on your life.
Our discussion has ended. Be reminded always of these things, but be open to other possibilities such as these:
