I recently came across the following list written/compiled by David Heenan: Ten Keys to Life Fulfillment: 1. Listen to your heart 2. Take one step at a time 3. Deliver daily 4. Maintain a maverick mind-set 5. Focus, focus, focus 6. Never stop learning 7. Build a brain trust (network of knowledgeable people) 8. Reinvent Yourself 9. Sell Yourself 10. Start now!
This list rocks!!! I love it. It’s balanced and passionate and practical and focused and full of hope.
These are all things I strive to deliver to my students and clients.

Have you ever sat back and asked yourself what it would be like to win a whopping million dollar fortune? What would you do with the money? Would you help a lot of people or start a psychic business? Perhaps you would just retire and travel all over the world with the money. However, one man hated winning his fortune and tells all on an episode of 20/20 that aired on Friday April 6, 2007. Jack Whittaker was the man that won a Powerball lottery jackpot in 2002 for $315,000,000. That is more money than most people would ever make through the course of several lifetimes. Anyone that had this kind of money would probably be smiling and buying themselves and their friends everything that they ever wanted. It would be a dream comes true.

If you are not a smoker, it might be hard to understand what it feels like to have cravings. It is hard for a smoker to do simple things like go to the movies, take a road trip, or work a day with out a smoke break. These cravings can take over your life faster than you know. Often the cravings out weigh the health risks associated with smoking.

Our circumstances seldom turn out just the way we envision them when we begin to plan for our future. And although we often need to stick to our original plans when circumstances become difficult, we also need to be willing to make changes in the way we live and the way we manage our time.
Our time is precious, whether it be the time we spend at work, leisure time and family time. This is why it is important that we spend our time on the things we enjoy the most and the things that will help us achieve our goals.

“If the only tool you have is a hammer, you tend to see every problem as a nail.” –Abraham H. Maslow
Unless you had an alternative eduction, you probably learned U.S. history the same way a majority of American students learn U.S. history, through the eyes of the power elite. According to text books, all that ever happened, happened because of presidents and wars and assassinations. We learned of Columbus ‘discovering’ the new world. We learned of Abraham Lincoln freeing the slaves. These are broad strokes and highly impartial.

“Two men look out through the same bars: One sees the mud, and one sees the stars.”- Frederick Langbridge, A Cluster of Quiet Thoughts. Here’s how optimists are in action and researches that back up why it really pays to be an optimist:
Try placing Frog A in a pot of boiling water. What happens? He twerps! He jumps off! Why? because he is not able to tolerate sudden change in his environment - the water’s temperature. Then try Frog B: place him in the lake warm water then turn the gas stove on. Wait till the water reaches a certain boiling point. Frog B then thinks “Ooh it’s a bit warm in here”.

Well. . .it seems like some of my readers have been paying careful attention. I like that. A while back I wrote an article about the eight most common avoidable pitfalls in language–but, if, try and might. Hey, that’s not eight! What are the other four? Several people commented on my blog that I was utilizing the open loop method of persuasion by saying there were eight, and only revealing four. Was this intentional? Maybe.
Now whether or not I was being sneaky and slipping in an open loop on purpose . . well, I’m not going to admit or deny that at this time.

Did you know that you can actually take your psychic gift to another level? Many people may not realize that they are in charge of their own spiritual levels and at times they may have to give their energy to someone that is in need. Each time that a psychic gives of their gift freely, they actually grow another step closer to the spiritual realm and to believing and trusting in God more.

Continuing education is absolutely vital for efficient managers who want to stay up to speed with new technological and business innovations. But many busy managers don’t have time for traditional methods like attending courses at a college campus or reading the business books for dummies. Online management courses have become a viable choice for many business persons. These programs are headed by experienced instructors who possess practical management skills. Individuals can work on online management courses during any time of the day or night. This allows those taking the courses to study at the convenience of their work schedule.
